CAPITAL CAMPAIGN AND ENDOWMENT FUND

The many valuable programs of Assistance League of Austin are funded through several innovative efforts.  All monies raised through the Chapter's fundraising activities are used for its philanthropic program expenses.  Money to finance non-philanthropic expenses incurred for member activities are derived from members' dues and member-only functions.  Because Assistance League of Austin is an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees, you can be assured that your every contribution will go directly to someone in the Austin community who needs and deserves it.

• ALA THRIFT HOUSE at 4901 Burnet Road--Our major fundraiser welcomes donations and shoppers!
   
• Grants--See our Thank You to generous donors.
   
• Donations--All contributions are greatly appreciated and tax deductible.  Click "Donate Now" or email us.
   
• Annual mail solicitation--Please contact us if you would like to be included in our mailing.
   
• Speaker's Bureau--Assistance League volunteers have spoken to more than 30 clubs over the last two years.  Either one or two members will arrive with wares from the THRIFT HOUSE, comical tales of experiences with various customers and information about programs supported by the money raised from selling donated goods.  We would welcome the opportunity to entertain your club group with a program from 15 minutes to 45 minutes based on your request.  You will laugh, be touched by stories of service to our clients, and want to support the THRIFT HOUSE after hearing this talk.  Contact Ann Guinn at 512-458-3716 to request a program.
