Assistance League of Austin core values:

  • Members are committed to helping others.
  • Members demonstrate integrity and respect for themselves and others.
  • Members embrace opportunities that come from improvement and change.
  • The Chapter is an organization with shared ownership, commitment and purpose.
  • Members recognize the importance of maintaining a partnership with our community, our customers and our suppliers.

Classifications of Membership and Financial Requirements:

  • Voting ($65) - members who participate in and support the philanthropic and fundraising activities of the chapter. All active members attend chapter meetings and have the privilege of voting and holding office. Active members serve a period of training.
  • Fall New Member ($50) - new members serving four months of orientation and training. Upon satisfactory completion, active membership is granted.  Spring New Members pay $30.   One time fee of $35 is charged for apron, pin, and yearbook.
  • Sustaining ($75) - members who have completed a minimum of eight years as an Active member may apply for this status.
  • Associate ($125) - members participate in and support the philanthropic programs and fundraising activities.
