Fundraising
The many valuable programs of Assistance League are funded through several innovative efforts. All monies raised through the Chapter's fundraising activities are used for its philanthropic program expenses. Money to finance non-philanthropic expenses incurred for member activities are derived from members' dues and member-only functions. Because Assistance League is an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees, you can be assured that your every contribution will go directly to someone in the Austin community who needs and deserves it.

Speakers Bureau--Assistance League volunteers have spoken to more than 30 clubs. Either one or two members will arrive with wares from the THRIFT HOUSE, comical tales of experiences with various customers, and information about programs supported by the money raised from selling donated goods. We welcome the opportunity to entertain your club group with a program from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, based on your request.
