Outreach
Outreach has been established to help Assistance League of Austin move quickly to meet a range of community needs on a one-time or a short-term or an annual basis, enabling us to respond in a flexible manner to special programs and/or community needs. This year we teamed with MAJIC 95.5 for their MAJIC of Christmas Toy Drive and Austin American-Statesman’s Season for Caring, during which we clothed children of the sponsored families.

In addition, Assistance League of Austin is providing up to 40 LIFE KITS to foster youth graduating from high school and entering independent living. These kits include such basic items as kitchen tools, bedding, cleaning equipment, reading lamps, flashlights and alarm clocks. Students are selected by A World For Children and the Department of Family and Protective Services.
