Occupational/Technical Scholarships
at Austin Community College

Full tuition, books, and fees are paid for selected students. Members from Assistance League of Austin mentor
students to ensure success in their chosen fields. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee at ACC on a basis of need and a desire to learn. Preference is given to Austin-area students who do not have college education experience in their family background and who have a strong desire to become a productive member of this community. |
| With generous grants from the Silverton Foundation and the Sooch Foundation, we have awarded scholarships to 10 students in 2007-2008 and 22 students in 2008-2009. In academic year 2008-2009, eight scholars graduated. The students will be recognized as the Assistance League/Silverton Scholars or the Assistance League/Sooch Scholars. |
